Connecting With the Community at Baby Fair & Expo

On Saturday, February 25th, Partners 1st employees talked to over 1,000 people at the 97.3 WMEE Baby Fair & Expo in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was a fun-filled day with over 65 vendors offering products and services to keep families healthy, safe, and organized.

Partners 1st Federal Credit Union was the Cash at the Door sponsor where the first 200 people through the doors received an envelope. This envelope gave that person a chance to win up to $500! This kicked our booth off to a great start to open conversations with prospective members. Partners 1st was also one of the passport stations, where people had to visit all the stations to get stamps on their passports for a chance to win an even bigger prize. With both of those factors, many folks stopped by to ask questions about savings and discuss their future financial goals.

Earn Money For College Each year, Partners 1st offers the Charles M. Cook Scholarship to qualified members who are in need of financial assistance for their educational journey. Eligibility: • Must be a member of Partners 1st Federal Credit Union • Person(s) primarily responsible for the applicant’s support must be a member in good standing of Partners 1st Federal Credit Union • Applicants must be a high school senior or full-time undergraduate student. Applicants must graduate during the current school year or have completed the requirements for graduation by the end of this school year The selection committee will select recipients based on academic performance, participation, and leadership roles in extra-curricular activities with evidence of strong character and motivation as seen outside school environment. Recipients will receive funds in time for the fall school year. Apply by May 31st at Save For College
