Shared Branch Network
Today, CO-OP Shared Branch is the nation’s third largest branch network with over 5,000 branches, 30,000 ATMs and hundreds of CO-OP Shared Branch express self-service locations. Shared Branch credit unions and ATMs provide personal service and easy account access for Partners 1st members wherever they happen to be, across the country or around the world. So even if you’re far from home, you can conduct Partners 1st transactions just as you would at one of our local branches.
At CO-OP Shared Branches you can:
• Take advantage of extended hours at many locations
• Access your accounts in person when you travel
• Keep your account if you move
You can perform transactions that include:
• Check deposits
• Cash deposits
• Transfers within accounts (same membership)
• Loan payments by check, cash or transfer
• Cash advances
• Cash withdrawals
• Check account balances
• Check transaction history
IDCheck
Shared branching is now even more secure with IDCheck by COOP - a new fraud prevention measure that allows us to make certain it’s YOU trying to access your account, not an imposter. IDCheck adds a layer of security if you transact on your Partners 1st account at one of our Shared Branch locations, or use Shared Branching to access another account while visiting a Partners 1st branch. Tellers are now able to identify and authenticate members’ identification in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This additional layer of authentication may be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.
How it Works:
1. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org.
2. Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list.
3. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number.
4. Upload a photo of your ID.
5. Take a selfie.
Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time!
6. Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes).
Starting May 1, 2025, you will find signage in your branch with QR codes for setup. You can also start the process from home at verify.coop.org – by starting the process before your branch visit, you can save your validation and save time at the branch.
