ACH Info & Set Up
With the Automated Clearing House, or ACH, financial institutions like ours can electronically deposit funds and process payments online. If you have logged in on payday to see your paycheck in your account or have paid a bill online, like a mortgage or car loan, you have benefited from ACH services.
These services include but are not limited to, social security, salaries, mortgage payments, credit card payments, and more, and they can go by several names: Direct Deposit, direct pay, or electronic check.
To set up an incoming or outgoing ACH transaction with us, you need:
- Our routing number -> 274973316
- Your account that you want the ACH to deposit or transfer funds from
At Partners 1st, if you want the transaction to post to your primary savings account, use your full account number - remember, account numbers and member numbers are not the same thing.
For withdrawing or depositing from your primary checking account, use the magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) number. This is the number assigned to your individual checking account.
If the form gives the option to choose the type of account, select "Savings" or “Checking”, accordingly.
To find your account number information:
- Online Access – through web browser or mobile app
- Click on the account name
- Choose “Details” (mobile app) or “Show Details” (web browser) under the account name if they are not already shown
- Find “MICR Account ID(s)” – this is your account number
- Physical checks
- At the bottom of your checks, there are three numbers:
- Routing Number – 274973316
- Check Number – matches the 4-5 digit number in the top right corner
- MICR Number – this is your account number
- At the bottom of your checks, there are three numbers:
- In-person
- Visit your local branch and request a “Direct Deposit Form”
- Bring positive identification! They will not release your account number to anyone except the person named on the account
